How to Help Yourself
It can be difficult for parents when a child starts university or college – particularly if they’ve moved away from home to study. You will probably be excited for them, and proud of their achievements, but it is a big change for you as well as for them and you may need to rethink how to spend your time and energy. This could be an ideal opportunity to take up a new hobby, plan some home improvements, spend time away with your spouse or partner or you could even consider starting a university or college course yourself! . But before you get too carried away remember that they will be back for a month at the end of each term and a few months over the summer!
